This month we want to bring you a breakfast idea as part of our popular Teatail series for the summer. As you know, we like to create cocktails and mocktails with our tea blends, which are light, yummy and bring something different to your summer parties. One of our fans has asked us to create a drink which can be enjoyed during the morning or at lunchtime, so we started experimenting and crafted a delicious power smoothie!
The Peach and Revitazest Smoothie is a refreshing and nutritious drink, perfect to enjoy during breakfast or brunch on a hot day. We chose Revitazest for its cooling and zesty flavour, and we added fresh fruits, yogurt and a pinch of ginger to spice things up!
The result is a drink which is healthy and filling, but will not make you feel bloated or heavy. Bananas and peaches are a great combination of flavours, and give you a slow release boost that lasts for several hours.
You can also enjoy our Peach and Revitazest Smoothie before a workout, it’ll keep your energy levels high for longer! As with any power drink, make sure you consume your beverage at least 30 minutes before starting the workout, to allow digestion to take place before you start your routine.
- 3 peeled peaches
- Half a cup vanilla greek yogurt
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 1 cup of Revitazest, cooled down
Mix all the ingredients in a blender with ice and you have a super-refreshing, healthy power smoothie that will keep you going for the whole day. For the vegan version of our tea smoothie, simply swap vanilla greek yogurt with your favourite soy yogurt :)
